The Michael Sandal has a lightweight cork platform wrapped with braided raffia detail. The ankle strap closure and crossing toe feature a more delicate raffia braid with leather details. The raffia is woven by hand by traditional artisans in Morocco and the shoes are assembled in France in their factory in Romans-sur- Isere.

Production of wooden heels utilizes less carbon than virgin plastic; therefore, it reduces the amount of waste materials that make up today's landfills
