Gabriela Hearst clutches and pouches use traceable materials including Italian nappa leather, exotic skins from snakeskin, and vegetable-tanned calfskin. Rose-gold hardware provides a consistent finishing detail. The collection moves from structured evening clutches with minimal hardware to softer pouches designed for everyday essentials, all produced in limited quantities.
The shapes are deliberately clean, with considered proportions, simple closures, and interiors chosen for durability. Where exotic leather is used, the skins are sourced with full traceability. Compact flat clutches, zip-top pouches with articulated structure, and half-moon envelope styles provide space for cards, a phone, and keys without unnecessary bulk. Several are made in the Italian ateliers also responsible for the larger handbags.
A Gabriela Hearst clutch works just as easily with an evening dress as it does with tailored separates from our suits. With use, the leather develops its own patina, giving the piece a character over time.
