Gabriela Hearst's understated 'Luca' flats are inspired by traditional jazz styles. They've been crafted in Italy from deerskin leather and have comfortable square toes.

This garment was made by a Family-owned and operated shoe factory located in Padua, Italy.

Deerskin is one of the toughest hides available, spongy to the feel, extremely durable, and still lightweight enough to be luxurious. This skin is even capable of becoming wet and and will return to its soft nature.

The soles of these sneakers are made of LACTAE HEVEA®, a natural rubber derived from the milk of a hevea tree. Handmade by craftsmen skilled in this centuries-old technique, the soles have slight visual imperfections that are proof of their authenticity.
