This shoe was made at a family-owned factory that works exclusively with LWG certified suppliers. They have a special treatment installation for cleaning their wastewater as well as an aspiration system for cleansing the air.

Genuine nappa is a chrome-tanned leather known for its distinctly smooth and supple softness. It is named after its origins in Napa Valley, California, where its tanning process was first developed in 1875. Like other full-grain leathers, its natural texture and marks show on the surface; for this reason, only better quality hides are used.
